I just wanted to say thank you to Randi for not only adding a new Talbot to my PC (even though its hated Flyers colors!) but also for being such a great guy, valued trader. friend and wannabe MOD.

If you all remember the torture I put Randi through with the Halak Stick works card I had picked up for him. I had a lot of fun with the taking of pictures of it everywhere...and hinting that it was on its way to Edmonton, Canada...complete opposite side of Canada as where he lives.....Randi on the other hand didnt find it so funny and was actually a bit stressed as to what MAY happen to the card. I actually picked the card up for hiim, not wanting anything in return for it. However.....Randi wouldnt see it that way....he kept sending me PM, after PM, after PM, after PM wanting to give me something in return for it. Finally, I said alright!!!!! I told him about a trader having the Talbot SPGU "T", that I kinda wanted, so off Randi went and traded for it for me! That was very nice and much appreciated!



But NO, that wasnt the end of it! Randi just had to go out and one up me!!!

He went out and got me this as well. (its about 11"x15" - wouldnt fit on scanner) IT IS AWESOME!!! I LOVE IT!! It is even numbered #3315/5000. I cant wait to make a matte and frame it up!! THANK YOU RANDI SO MUCH FOR THESE!!! You really didnt have to get them, but I do REALLY, REALLY appreciate it!!! You area Class act and very respected and valued trader on this site!!!

WOW, just amazing Hugh. Those are 2 magnificent pieces for your collection. Randi is truly a great guy and is an extremely great asset to the Beckett boards. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing more and more black and orange in your Talbot PC.

What a great camaraderie we have on this site. A little needling, joking and looking out for each other. That's the way it should be and it is sweet. Congrats to all of you who help each other out.

Really great additions Hugh!!! You are right about Randi, he is one of the best people on this site and that's one of the reasons that makes this community so great. Only thing is that T is such an ugly color Anyway congrats on the additions!!!!

It's cool to think that in X years you can not only look at a really cool collection, but certain pieces like these are going to remind you of meeting awesome people through gaining the collection.

That Lemieux is insanely nice. Can't wait to see it framed!

Thank you all so much for the amazing recognition! Hugh went out of his way to get the Halak Stick to me, with some antagonistic measures along the way, and this is what I could come up with to repay the amazing integrity that he has shown! I was planning on sending the print to Mario Lemieux to see if I could get a TTM auto on it, but after realizing that it was a numbered print and finding out the poor track record of Mario's returning such items, I thought that I would not want to have if be lost.

This community has brought so much joy to many of us, and I am really grateful for that! Thanks to everyone for the great integrity! I hope that this gesture can be passed forward on to the other great members of this wonderful community! Best wishes, all!
