Great addition to your collection. I watched a video that should a jersey getting cut up and it was just terrible. I am glad you have a rescued jersey that will stay in one piece.

Nothing is more painful than seeing a piece of history being cut up. Game-used memorabilia collectors are liberators who prevent pieces of sports history from being destroyed. Sure you can't trade them or display them as easily as cards, but for $500, would I rather have a shield card of some nobody, or a game-used jersey of a mid-level goaltender?

awesome jersey!! I know what you mean about a jersey being really truly unique... I have Chris Osgood's Grand Rapids Griffins jerseys.. it was his only stint in the AHL since Adirondack, and he played like 5 games, and I have both jerseys he played in.. just kinda one of those cool things.. totally get it.. nice shirt.. and I'll be at MeiGray tomorrow!!

I was thinking more like an essay...followed by a photo essay. It's worth it because we can tell how much thought you put into your collecting decisions. Most everyone has really interesting reasons behind a pickup in one way or another, but you take the time, a lot of time, to communicate it. ; )

The uniqueness is really pretty cool about it. I like your collection and would love to see it displayed on a website. I do enjoy reading your long posts. I like your style of writing It's pretty awesome that this is a true 1/1. Than i started thinking that if i was in the nhl, i'd want to buy my only jersey. But than i think i'd be disappointed if i only had 1. But than looking at that brand new gear and helmet he got to pick out that looks pretty sweet, I think i'd want ot keep that too. but than i'd realize i only wore it twice in the nhl, so maybe i'd want to get rid of it. move on. I wonder if Goalie helmets are sold like Jerseys are.
