worst: i traded a kirby puckett rookie for a boardwalk and baseball set

in my defense: boardwalk and baseball was an incredible magical place, while it existed

Best trade:
In 1987 I traded my ten-speed bicycle for a 1969 Nolan Ryan card.
Runner up:
In 1972 I traded one of my several 1972 Rogelio Moret cards for a 1969 Harmon Killebrew. The other kid was a Red Sox fan and I had him convinced that Killebrew was on his way out and wouldn't play much longer.

Worst trade:
In 1991 I traded a couple dozen late 1960s, early 1970s football cards (O.J. Simpson, Butkis, Staubach, Steneroud, Unitis, Namath, etc) for a 1991 OPC Premier set and a 1991 Studio Preview set. I didn't collect football (and still don't) but in hindsight, I should've gotten more for the superstars.

I collect Hall of Fame baseball player cards and cards of current and retired superstars.

Best: wasent a trade but purchase. I bought a huge lot from a David Freese collector getting out of collecting. I bought 12 topps chrome auto, 4 refractors autos of him and a blue for $150 all together. After they won the championship last year I sold all 12 for $50+each, the refractors for $70+ each, and the blue for $120. All said and done I made around $800 on the deal.

Worst: I had a bowman platinum green refractor, and blue refractor auto of mike trout. They booked $80 and $60 at the time. I got a Ripken auto that booked $120. Now those two cards book for $200 and $150.

Collecting: Jason Heyward & Doug Martin.Smile Pm me if you have any!
