who thinks marty brodeur should resign with the devils? i personally think he should stay a devil until hes done playing for good hes been a backbone for the team for to long to just up and go somewhere else.

It might be hard to do but retiring while you're still playing well is a respectable way to go. Otherwise resign with the team youve been with you're entire career.

No he shouldn't re-sign anywhere. He should call it a career. Go out on top as a Stanley Cup runner up.

He should, and will, re-sign in New Jersey. If I had to guess, I'd say he's allowing the Devils to wrap up everyone else (they re-signed a bunch of guys today and still want to re-sign Parise) while simultaniously finding out what he's worth to other teams, which he hasn't really done before.

He'll be a Devil next season.
