Hahaha sounds like my wife!

From now on she picks blasters and orders our hobby boxes/cases and opens them. My luck sucks in opening packs now.

I’ve been reading your threads and the likeness is uncanny. There have been times when I have gone out and bought cards and waited till she got home to have her open them. My wife’s got all the luck opening cards in this household. (lol)

So that's what I'm doing wrong. The first time my gf wanted to open some (I picked out the packs) she got a jersey card. I let her pick some packs the next day and I opened them and didn't get anything special.
