RE: opinion on trading based on ebay average price
Ebay has too many variables that dictate the price...with book value, there is one set price..i just dont see why people would come to a price guide website and try and go against book value...

Ive had some traders who go BV for BV and wont budge and some who realize some of the BV's are off...
I agree with you this is how I trade,

I trade purely based on BV and nothing else. If someone wants to purchase a card then I will take into account what they have been selling for. This makes it simple and I don't get upset when someone tries to trade with me based on sell value, I just don't trade with him/her.

I think the important thing to rembember is you are not forced to sell or trade anything at any value. Whether you are trading or selling you know if you are being fair and getting a fair offer, if you don't think you are then simply decline. I think most people that spend much time on this site have a pretty good idea of what is going on with a particular card so just do what you are comfortable with or simply decline.....never any reason to get ugly about it.

Always looking for BGS or BVG graded cards for HOFers....especially the skilled positions.
