So I started to bust a 24 box case of 08 LCM tonight and I am half way through and it has been terrible. To top it off 4 of the best cards are damaged big time.

A two clr gold /25 Marino jsy all banged up on the back
Jordy Nelson Stamp pretty much split in half /25
freshman fabric /25 sick patch felix jones 3 clrs top part pealed off.
and a Roy Williams Gold jsy /25 scraped on the back.

Has anyone tried to get older cards pre Panini replaced? I think I am going to call tomorrow and see if they can do something for me.

i have heard they will help on older stuff..if you can get a hold of someone.

Are all the cards ruined. even the base? Do you have scans?

sorry to hear that bro. i have had fair luck with certified and i really love the triple NFL prime patches from those..
with Tracy Hackler at Panini now it seems to go better on older redemptions now... so replacements should happen if i were to guess for you.

Thanks guys I am going to call today and see what they can do. I will keep everyone posted and will be posting scans of everything later.

Sorry to hear about that! Panini's CS is horrible, but I have heard its getting better very recently so hopefully they will be able to help you out. Keep calling them - they never check their email.

Make sure you have receipts and case/box numbers and all that. Tends to speed things up from my understanding. I'm going through the same thing w/ upper deck right now, pulled a $120 1-per-case LeBron insert that they packaged against the rough side of the cardboard insert and it got really edged up.
