so, i've talked to alot of you in the basketball forum through PM's, or through threads. and im sure most of you seen my matching set of carmelo tools of the trade. i just made a deal and sold them, and im wondering if you guys think that i made out like a bandit, got about the right amount, or should have held out for a little more? sold the pair for 350 cash...

Personally I think you did. I do not know much about how his cards sell but that seems like a lot. Granted they are both low numbered, one is an auto and both have sick patches. This Carmelo card sold for under $100. Not the same calibar of card, but still close.

I agree, I think you did pretty well. The patch on the auto is absolutely nasty, but I'd sell them for that 10 out of 10 times!

Agree, good price for those two cards, but why sell if you are a Melo collector? Just wondering.

Already have in hand a melo 14k gold piece 5/10 and a melo gold bars auto 2/5 on its way. I'm working towards mainly Knicks uniform autos and numbered 10 or lower. So I got a new matching set already. Lol. I have my eye on a few sick cards on the bay I will be looking into. Expect a nice update on my new pc collection in the weeks to come.

Each card individually would likely not sell for $175. Putting them together for $350 seals the deal and still puts you in the black, presumably. Now go spend your money on more Knicks autos!
