why is the plate not backwards?
|
There are a lot of new products that have the plates that are mirror images of the final product. I'm not exactly sure how it works like that but it's pretty cool.

The plates w/ the reverse negative on them are used when the image is transferred directly from the plate to the card being printed. The one you have the image is transfered from the plate to something else then to the card. Just a different printing process, different type plate.
