Well just got a package today from Beckett Grading


was a bit dissapointed cause of only getting a 9.0 Final grade.

Centering 10
Edges 9.5
Corners 8.5
Surface 9.5

Auto 10

the reason im a bit ticked off , is because of the Corner grades cause when i sent this card off there was not pin head dings in corners on the back of the card . when i get it back it has dings ..
This card came Straight from Panini and was in Perfect i mean Perfect Shape not an issue with it at all ..

Yes it happened to me but when I called the manager over BGS he stated if they damaged it they would have notified me. Needless to say I couldn't prove it didn't happen during shipping to them.

BGS 9 is a solid grade but I hear ya. If you wouldve received just .5 higher for corners you would have landed a 9.5!!!

well i know how the card was packaged for shipping , and theres no way the pin sized dings could have come from shipping , Panini shipped it to me less protected and there was no damage at all getting to me . it was sent in top loader (secured) and top sealed with tape and then wrapped in card board spacers and tape and then in bubble mailer , i could have thrown it off top a 12 story building and it wouldnt have gotten any damage LOL.. so those dings had to have came from them, theres no other explanation for it .. this thing should have been 9.5 or 10 , it was seriously that great of shape when it left my hands ..


that is always my worry when i send stuff to get graded , all it takes it that 1 person removing it to grade to screw it all up and theres nothing i can do about it .

ya well guess i have to deal with it , no other choice ..

Sucks about the corners but Beautiful card nonetheless.

Sweet card, but bummer that they can't handle cards better... I would love to grade all the high grade Ships I have eventually, but this scares me... I would hate for my prized rare cards to be damaged...

well i would just make sure to do what i did and package them beyond secure and know exactly what condition they are in before you ship em out ..
