3 Packs of BTP's

As for your posts...you are trying to make excuses for what you know is wrong. As for your examples...lol...if I were in a casino and someone sat down and won I would congratulate them as I am not owed anything because I walked away, it's the chance I took spending my money (kinda like buying boxes and it being a dud). Some of us do have morals and know what is right and wrong....we all make mistakes but we learn from them and don't keep doing it over and over because we think we are owed something. Just saying....I feel much better knowing I can go out and buy what I want (packs, singles, boxes) and not having to search packs and screw others who should have the same odds of pulling something as I do. It is fraud as I have seen 2 people arrested for doing it....what comes around goes around and in the end it's people that do these things that get burned....
I said "as for the name calling guy". That wasnt directed towards you, its directed at the guy on page 1. And Im not trying to make any excuses. SoI dont see anything wrong with it. your saying that cause I can tell a weight difference by picking something up that im commting fraud and can be arrested? The point at hand is "fair chance" and while its being said this isnt "fair chance" there are plenty of things you & everyone does that isnt "fair chance"

RE: 3 Packs of BTP's
if you dont damage packs, it isnt property damage, but it is still consumer fraud. youre intentionally screwing with the odds.

it's like knowing how to rig scratch off tickets so that you get winners. that's fraud as well

justify it however you want, but it's a punk move, and you look like a jackass for admitting it

seriously, you should smack yourself for doing something so blatantly wrong, and stupid

(you'll note: i didnt call you a name once in this post, even if you deserved it. i called out your actions)

im honestly curious now on this consumer fraud thing and have a question. Why would this be considered fraud and as the guy above pointed out seen people arrested (maybe they were tampering and not just picking them up) but something like counting cards at blackjack isnt consumer fraud and is legal? Honestly just curious about that. Actually nevermind, I just asked my cop neighbor and its not considered consumer fraud, by me buying them.

RE: 3 Packs of BTP's
first off: i honestly dont believe you are just gently picking them up and feeling the slightest of differences in weight.

second: it's fraud because you are knowingly and intentionally screwing with the odds of a box. that is textbook consumer fraud

like the hangover said...

RE: 3 Packs of BTP's
in thinking about "the kids" as everyone is bringing up, or the would-be buyers of the rest of the box...wouldnt the ever important phrase "buyer beware" fit in this instance....
no one is guaranteed anything when they buy packs...anytime you buy, you can get skunked or the hits could all be gone...you have to know that when you decide to buy packs...

Also, btp has other hits besides jersey cards...the mask cards are available, as well as the autos...
the box isnt empty

that isnt the point.

it's still fraud

RE: 3 Packs of BTP's
my point is, tho, that there are still 2 autos in the box as well as the mask cards...the box isnt gutted. yes a $6 alex auld jersey (that you would be lucky to get a dollar for) is now gone. oh well...there could still be a roy, brodeur, or price auto in there...
its not like the rest of the box is now junk...

RE: 3 Packs of BTP's
For collectors like myself, I like to go drop $15-20 on some packs here and there, and I like the thrill of pulling any jersey or auto. It does ruin it for the collectors that cant drop $75-100 a week or more on cards. Just my opinion.

Read my post above yours, Ive checked on it and its not fraud or consumer fraud. try finding out what consumer fraud is before claiming it. The buyer of a product cannot commit consumer fraud. And the seller (being the shop guy) is also not commiting fraud because as stated there are still hits in the box and he didnt manipulate any odds. And you still never answered the card counting post. that is manipulated odds as well and it is not illegal nor is it fraud.

RE: 3 Packs of BTP's
unreal

ignorance of the law doesnt mean you arent guilty

it is fraud. you are as wrong as the dude in the hangover

and even if it wasnt illegal, it's still a morally bankrupt asshat thing to do

so congrats: youre a dbag.

happy?
