It has happened to 5 auctions today alone. Sounds like shilling to me but Hey happens to everyone My Bucket http://s1000.photobucket.com/albums/af12...nding1973/

Back around 2004-2005 before the steroid scandal hit, I was eyeing up a Barry Colla Mark McGwire autograph. I was willing to bid as far as $350-500 for it (it booked at $650 at the time). Once I bid up to my max (took several bids), I seen the other bidder was still winning. I was like "well hell, I make him pay for this if im not getting it". I bid that card all the way up to his max of $755.00. lol A year later after the scandal, I was so glad I did not win that. I eventually won a couple years later for $225.

So why would you come on here where a number of people rely on ebay to build their collections and admit to bidding above your limit just to screw another collector? Wow http://s1147.photobucket.com/albums/o558/dmasci/ Always looking for BGS or BVG graded cards for HOFers....especially the skilled positions.

Wow If my math is correct I believe this was like 7 years ago. Its not like Im sitting here doing it all the time. Like I stated, it was just once out of frustration 7 YEARS AGO! Argh. If I were you, Id worry more about the professional shill bidders like Big Boyd. |
