If the OP thinks the person is bumping the price up to get back at him.

I did this JUST ONCE.
Back around 2004-2005 before the steroid scandal hit, I was eyeing up a Barry Colla Mark McGwire autograph. I was willing to bid as far as $350-500 for it (it booked at $650 at the time). Once I bid up to my max (took several bids), I seen the other bidder was still winning. I was like "well hell, I make him pay for this if im not getting it". I bid that card all the way up to his max of $755.00. lol A year later after the scandal, I was so glad I did not win that. I eventually won a couple years later for $225. Smile

So why would you come on here where a number of people rely on ebay to build their collections and admit to bidding above your limit just to screw another collector? Wow

Always looking for BGS or BVG graded cards for HOFers....especially the skilled positions.

If my math is correct I believe this was like 7 years ago. Its not like Im sitting here doing it all the time. Like I stated, it was just once out of frustration 7 YEARS AGO! Argh.

If I were you, Id worry more about the professional shill bidders like Big Boyd.
