Pretty harsh ruling, tough times to be a Saints fan.

I wonder if Brees will still re-sign with all of this stuff swirling around?

Actually its not that bad.We are feeling really good about this year again.The feel around here today by the fans is that we thought it would be much much worse.27 players were named and only 2 current players were suspended.Will Smith had a down year last season so 4 games wont be a biggie.Vilma has slowed down the last 2 years and we have Curtis Lofton coming over from Atlanta and David Hawthorne from Seattle to step in.Big sigh of relief for most us fans.Very excited to move on now with a better defense this season than what we had last season.We were prepared for a death sentence.Who Dat!!!

All the suspensions will motivate the team. When my team lost a few guys, it makes you want to play harder. Especially at the NFL level, these guys will be going hard!

+1. Brees will be signed to a long term contract..im not worried one bit.
Agreed we picked up some nice defensive players...Im very excited to see Spags run this defense! I think we will have a very strong season and make the playoffs
