i can explain:

there is no such thing as a dutch auction... any more. they were outlawed by ebay 4 years ago

now, anything that calls itself a dutch, isnt a dutch - it's a multi-quantity fixed price listing

the difference:

Dutch auctions on eBay allowed sellers to list multiple identical items in an auction format, in which a single bid determines the price for all the items on offer. This differs from multi-quantity fixed-price, in which sellers set the unit price.

so, if there were 100 items, you could list them in one auction, and people would bid on how many items they wanted, and how much they would pay. they were not guaranteed that price, however, if someone bid higher

now, it a fixed price, with set terms, and it isnt an auction, but a buy it now


the "dutch" term has stuck as a branding issue, because people were familiar with it

some folks will say you get a certain number of cards, some guarantee you get same level of value, etc

but if you have any other question, im probably the guy to ask - i run ebay's longest running dutch auction (i enter my 2nd decade of doing my dutch next month)
