National Treasures "Laundry Tag" vs. "ID Tag" - anyone know the difference?
Beckett lists them both. I assume it's these. But which is which? And are there 25 of each?

There's this one:

And there's this one:

My understanding is this. The second card is the Laundry Tag. The first one is the ID tag. However, here's the issue with the ID tag. I believe the ID tag typically has the year of the jersey and then the size of the jersey (i.e., 03-52). So why a Jake Locker ID tag would have an '03 tag or a size 52 tag (in my opinion too big for a QB) means one of two things: It's either someone else's jersey or it was simply one of those event worn jerseys.

Always looking for Elway cards. Especially hard to find parallels and inserts from the '90s, i.e., any Leaf Mirror card or Donruss Elite parallel

Thanks for the reply You're right about which is which. I was just on Panini's website looking at the checklist and most players have different quantities of each. AJ Green, for example has 5 laundry tags and 10 ID tags. A quick check of completed listings cleared that up.

As for what the ID tags signify, that is an interesting question. Because even the Locker cards are all different. The "guarantee" on the back just says it's "player-worn material". For all we know they had a bunch of tags sewn onto a T-shirt...

Actually 52 is definately not too large for a QB..you have to take into account that they are wearing pads underneath these jerseys not just wearing them around like us fans..well there probably are a few of us fans that wear pads and helmets..but lets not go there..I too start foaming at the mouth..and think that Pioli and the rest of the Chiefs management must have been doing the same Drafting Dontari Poe #11...wow..Hopefully the gamble works out...would've been happier with Decastro...
