After pulling a Koufax AOC from a Walmart blaster, the hobby box hits were kind of anticlimactic

- Mitch Moreland AOC
- Neil Walker AOC
- Derek Holland jersey relic
- Yovanni Gallardo framed mini relic

I haven't really sorted through anything else yet so I'm not sure which SP's I ended up with.

From retail packs and some blasters I pulled a Jose Reyes framed mini relic and some #'d blue frames:

- Curtis Granderson (nft)
- Roger Maris (nft)
- Joey Votto
- Brookes Robinson
- Orlando Cepeda

Not sure yet if I'm gonna try another hobby box before I settle down for trades...

Pulled a Koufax auto out of a retail pack from last year's set. Looks like I'll have to test that idea again this year! Great pull!!!

I missed out on the first GQ release last year, so initially I was looking forward to picking up the 2012 set. Then, I saw the previews that Topps released and decided I wasn't so taken by this year's design.

I went back and forth on it A LOT (I need something to do while I wait for A&G'12, right?!), and then last week on the release date, I stopped by Walmart before work and bought all 4 of the blasters they had. (Ha, I cracked biiig time.)

After I broke the first couple of blasters I was kinda regretting picking them up... if I was seriously looking for hits, that money would have been better used to pick up a hobby box... and again, I'm not really in love with this year's look.

During lunch I went back out to my car and remembered I had two blasters yet to open. The Koufax was in the last pack of the last box I broke! Couldn't believe it!

Honestly, that's probably the best pull I've ever had... and about time, too! With all the time and money I've put into the hobby!
