you understand if this is true, we arent talking nfl issues, but criminal issues (though the statute of limitation is up)

this would be the worst violation of competitive fairness in nfl history. you understand why this would be worse than even spygate?

i guess i dont understand why you think espn would put themselves in a place to get sued. or why you think they should ignore their own investigation
Espn is going deep into this - they better have some proof (and probably do because there lawyers make lotsa money)

My guess? There are recordings.

As a fan - they're toast - as a lawyer - show me show me show me.

Until then - media hype. Does anyone remember Strauss-Kahn? Oh, the civil case is still "pending".....

It makes no sense on how it could happen! In the matter of moments they would have he would have to send it to somebody to decipher it, then another person to decipher it more, then after that send it down to the defensive play caller to tell the defense. I'm sorry but there is NO WAY that can happen in a few seconds!!

Coaches talk about everything in the booth not just call plays, even though they couldn't decipher the verbage used when calling plays doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to get other important information

It's not just espn, 60 min. Is doing a show about it. From what I understand the reporters from 60 mim. Are the ones who reported it to espn.

It's not an issue of stealing calls - Its about wiretapping all sorts of information. What if there was free agent talk or potential injuries.... Bigger things. Not just play calling....possible team infractions....BOUNTY talk or such???

No one knows what is talked about.

Oh - I and i meant "their" attorneys, not "there"...,stupid grammar and stupid spelling always getting in the way.

Ah - rogue : just saw your post:

They have already asked for the source of the information and the details, and ESPN has refused. This is nothing but dogpiling and kicking someone when they are down.

BTW, the Saints have allegedly been accused of wiping out the dinosaurs, causing the tsuname that hit Japan, Hurricane Katrina, Nancy Kerrigan's knee injury, the movie John Carter, Milli Vanilli, the Easter Bunny rumor, the Bigfoot and Loch Ness Monster sightings, UFOs above New Mexico, Kim Kardashian's divorce, Jersey Shore, Pee Wee Herman, the bird flu, herpes, high gas prices, and losing the Vietnam war
I don't think it affected anything so I'm not here to bash your defense of your team, but others are talking about it as well, here are some examples.

Except the Patriots violated a league rule. If true, the Saints broke the law. HUGE difference.
