Card show pickups HOF autos
Picked up a few auto'ed balls recently at a card show in Brooklyn Center Minnesota so I thought Id share my some of my collection:
Hit King pickup back in the 80s. My first card show signing, dont remember much.
Picked this up at a card shop in NY, first week back collecting after a 20 year break.
'86 Mets
Jim Thome, saw him blast two bombs at Target field last year. His auto isnt easy to come by
Steve Carlton
Greatest Met ever? iNSCRIBED "Miracle Mets '69"
The real home run king
Greatest player of all time
thanks for the look!

Thanks! Whats cool about the Mays is its a vintage NL ball (not a Bud Selig ball)
Missing form the collection is an '85 Royals World Series Team Signed ball. My aunt is from KC and is good friends with George Brett. She gave my sister the ball for her birthday which ended up in my pc and sat on my shelf for 25 years til I told her recently it was probably worth $700. She promptly decided she wanted it back lol. Its probably on eBay as we speak. w/e ><

You should have kept quiet on that one.

I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.

Lol, well she asked and I wasnt gonna lie to her. Wasnt a big deal as Im not much of a Royals fan.
If it were a '69 Mets or '87 Twins ball we probably wouldnt be talking to each other right now haha.
