You could also try to position yourself as an appraiser and suggest to people how much to insure their collection for. That way even if it's something you may not want to buy, you're still providing clients a service.

I wish i could do something like this. No idea how to even start. I have had people i work with be like can i show you some cards and you tell me if they are worth anything.
My 1st words are what years are they from? Alot of people say well mid late 80's early 90's.

I feel thier are few experts that know alot about the entire world of sports cards & Memorobilia and some that only know local teams and some that say they know and really know nothing.
