I for one hate the fact that you cant do group breaks on beckett and i understand why too, so why not do something where a mod can run a group break once a week. There could be a forum for group breaks with information on upcoming ones and prices. Also to get into one you would have to buy a spot through the marketplace..... to keep things fair for everyone they would have to do random teams. They could either do them through youtube (beckett could make an account called Grouprbreackbeckett or something like that where everyone could subscribe) or blog tv as well

i disagree. from a legal standpoint, i completely understand why beckett doesnt want that liability

I do not know the legal part but I somehow understand why Beckett does not want any liability or responsibility from unsuccessful and non-satisfactory group breaks being held at their Website.

I'm far from any kind of legal expert but couldn't they just put some language into the TOS stating that they have no liability yada yada yada pertaining to group breaks and taking part in them is at your own accord?

They've already got language in the TOS stating that they are not responsible for particular things. I would imagine similar wording in the TOS would cause them to not be liable if something occurred in a box break and if someone agrees to the TOS, they can't hold Beckett liable for things they themselves decide to take part in.

Probably more to it though as I'm no legal expert.

the problem with the vast majority of groups breaks is twofold:

1. a lot of scams, a lot of ways to game the system
2. even when it's straight, a lot of folks get upset when they dont get something

group breaks havent been allowed on beckett as far back as i can remember. there's a reason for that

Just make the person do them live on blogtv, and be transparent with costs. I participate in group breaks rather often and have never had a hard time. People just need to know there is a good chance they could walk away empty handed.

For me its a way to get in on a case break of high end product for like 60$.

and even using blogtv, you can run scams

people are free to do group breaks. just not through beckett.
