I have to admit, by the time I got home I was having a little buyer's remorse. I haven't bought a lot of cards over the past couple of years. I just got tired of blowing $100 to $500 on a box (or boxes) only to pull a bunch of junk that wasn't worth the cardboard it was printed on. Not to mention the number of damaged cards I was pullling. Panini being the worst offender. I was a huge Playoff fan...but I've noticed quality tank since Panini took over. So I took a break for a while...but I still had the urge. And Sunday I decided to visit a card show for the first time in a long, long time. I picked up a box (pack actually) of 2011 Topps Five Star for the low, low price of only $400. I like the thrill of the big chase. As I said, I was overcome with remorse as I pleasure delayed opening the box. Finally around 10:00 last night...I ripped in. I was hoping to be able to recoup at least half my money. I have to say...I was pretty lucky. See for yourself...
