2010 Upper Deck Series 1 Hobby Case 3/14/12
I know some of you won't touch this product but I enjoyed this break especially for the price point [Image: smile.gif]

Case stats I found digging around online:

* 2x Baseball Heroes Dimaggio per box on average
* 3x Portraits per box on average
* 2x 10th Anniversary Star Rookie Update per case on average
* 1x Exquisite per case on average (#/75)
* 1x Patch per case on average (#/25)

Yes, every pack in the box had a jersey card - it was awesome! After opening all 3 box "hits" in a couple of previous boxes I was fully prepared to be let down after pack 2, but the jerseys just kept coming.

Box #8
Alex Romero Signature Sensation autograph
Brandon Phillips 10th Anniversary Star Rookie Update
Tommy Hanson Exquisite 67/75

Curtis Granderson Jersey
Jermaine Dye Jersey (white, with a little black striping - most of the jersey cards are solid coloring)

My final stats:
* 384x Season Biography cards (as expected)
* 37x Jersey cards (13 more than expected, thanks hot box!)
* 12x autograph cards (as expected)
* 9x gold parallel (3 short)
* 31x All World (7 more than expected)
* 32x Pure Heat (8 more than expected)
* 20x Baseball Heroes Dimaggio (4 short)
* 48x Portraits (as expected)
* 2x 10th Anniversary Star Rookie Update (as expected)
* 2x Exquisite (double the expected!)
* 2x Patches (double the expected!)

All told, looks like I'll have enough base to make 6 sets from this case. Even got an extra Buster Posey RC for good measure. Was hoping for a Gary Sheffield Piece of History bat card or a bigger autograph hit but I can't say I'm displeased with the results.

Most of this isn't loaded in my Organizer yet, should be done by the weekend.

Sorry for the long post, but I couldn't just jump straight to the good details without a little setup for the hot box and the big 4 lol And now for some images of the 4 "big" case hits:

Dude... that's a great case! It sounds like you got a ton of really nice cards, and I LOVE that Drew patch!

I'm working on putting together a master set of 2010 UD, so if it's cool with you, I'd love to send you a list of what I need and maybe we can work something out. Let me know if that would be okay!

*Please note that in all of my future trades, I will require extra time to ship. I have no adequate transportation to a post office. If you don't want to wait, please do not trade with me.*

I pulled one of the Gary Sheffield bat cards, couldn't even get $5 bucks for the thing after months and months on Ebay ha ha I think I ended up trading it on here for a Matt Cain printing plate once upon a time ago.

I believe there are extremely rare SP variations on several of the base cards in that set. Very subtle little differences in the photos of certain players. They are real hard to find, but you probably got some in that case so you may want to sift through your commons. I believe they are listed in Beckett but they don't have descriptions of the variations or pricing if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure you could google a detailed list of variations though.

Yeah I know about them and have a list of them. I have the Clayton Kershaw one. Still sorting and looking to see if I got lucky and ended up with any of the others.
