Looking at starting a small PC of Owen Schmitt "The Runaway Beer Truck" (FB for West Virginia and Seahawks & Eagles in the NFL). He grew up in Gilman, WI which is a rural community close to my hometown and also spent his freshman year of college playing football at UW-River Falls where I also went to school for a year and a half.

In looking at the org, he has a lot of cards out there including some autos and mem cards, so it probably wouldn't be too hard to pick a few up. With my Packers PC focus being one auto and one mem card of each player and only being 4 hard to find cards short of completing my Jim Leonhard project, I thought I might as well look into collecting another player.

Given his local ties here, I thought it might be fun to collect a few cards of him. Wouldn't look to supercollect or anything although the possibility is there given the amount of cards he has and the relatively low prices of them.

Just looking to see if anybody has any thoughts on the idea or has any Schmitt cards available. Also want to make sure I'm not going to step on any toes if anyone else already collects him or his teams. Thanks!

Can't imagine you would step on anyone's toes at all. I should have a few dupes of him in his Seahawks uni. If you care to PM me your address I will look through and send you some! I wish the Hawks had given him more of a chance, but oh well, such as life!

Thanks! Would definitely be interested if you had anything extra! Did seem odd that Seattle let him go, he had a unique skillset that could have added another dimension to the offense.
