Ryan Braun: The Hypocrite
#31

RE: Ryan Braun: The Hypocrite
That's the extent of his "attack?" Seems pretty innocuous to me. He's just restating the grounds for the overturned ruling. I don't think we know any more now than we did 2 weeks ago. The only 'new information' is the statement from the collector where he says he didn't do anything wrong (of course, what else would he say?)

I am going to say 50% of the big name players use something and I think most of them are the homerun hitters. We can throw other names in the mix that I feel are guilty but because they have not been caught there innocent. I have not followed what has been said by either sides but the person holding the sample was wrong in holding it and alot can happen and I am sure there are ways to taint samples that might not even have to open them. If your looking at a urine sample are you looking for small holes such as a needle or something like that. I am not saying that happened but a weekend is a long time to have it in your basement unprotected and who know maybe that guy or someone in his family hates the Brewers or is a Matt Kemp fan and wanted to tamper with the sample. There is alot we don't know and will never know. I look at braun and he looks like a pretty small guy so its hard for me to believe he did it but you just never know.

Once more information comes out we can be having a totally different conversation on a thread titled "braun vindicated"....wait till the facts are all out to make judgements on if hes guilty of using something or not. Regardless, hes already guilty of acting like a tool ...on the other hand, if he IS innocent, and if that was me id act just as cocky and pissed and attack everybody too. If he really ddnt do anything wrong he has every right to attack whoever he wants cuz he got shafted

Just because someone is a scum bag or not does not affect who I collect. I dont collect Braun but if I did I would not dump my cards because of this. Also, was Ben ever charged with any crime? Futhermore I dont have to justify crap to you. Just saying.

I build sets, collect Lou Brock & Jeremy Maclin. Both of my sons went to Kirkwood HS with Jeremy. I will also look at Kurt Warner, Big Ben and Old Big Red Auto's.

Thats because Big Ben has money to make it go away. Michael Jackson was never convicted of child child molestation but alot of people will tell you they believe he did. Money talks and if you pay the right amount to that person he or she that is accusing will win since they will drop the charges. Famous people get away with this all the time.

When I read Laurenzi's statement, there was one thing that was flawed...he stated he kept the sample in his basement but in my experience, it should have been kept in a lock box (with him only having the key)...in other words his "chain of custody" was broken once he kept it in an environment where other individuals in the household had access to it. Secondly Testosterone levels do not drop that rapidly on a chronic user or a user that has been using it on a daily basis etc...If you are like a sporadic user, it will drop drastically but if you are using on a regular basis then it should remain still at a high detectable level. That said, Mr. Braun had a good defense in his case...even though Laurenzi's character and work ethic got attacked, being a urine collector myself, it is part of the job...many times I have been in court testifying against druggies and alcoholics and my character and work ethic is always attacked...it is what we get paid for...to bad his system in this case is flawed...Just thought I would let everyone know.
Agreed and well said.

I do something similar in the Army ^. Just thought I'd that...lol

Wilt Chamberlain supposedly slept with 100's if not 1000's of women during his hey day.

One would have to think he took something to accomplish this. I know things like Viagra didn't exist back then, but there had to be something. If there was and he did, wouldn't that be "cheating" as it would have been considered to be used as a "performance enhancing drug"?

lol

Kidding, thought I'd bring some humor here. Some of you get some angry and upset with one another.
