how about 1998 gabe kapler.....this guy was even on a shoe commerical!

I remembering pulling a Travis Lee Donruss Preferred Precious Metals and it was orignally going for $300-$400..He was supposed to be the best 1B for the next decade and think he only played a year or 2 before he was out of the league..

Nah... if not for injury in mid career he could have put up HOF #'s. Prolly would have been linked to roids and corked bats to lol....
