It is definitely the top of the M.... the A has more space in between....
Trying to finish these sets:

I would say this either the "M" or "R", but leaning more towards the "M"

To me, it looks like it could be from the bottom of the M. I just google an image of his jersey and there is also a nice jersey on the bay that you can zoom in on and really looks close to what you have.

The ONLY place on the jersey that has a V cut in it is the top of the M. Another thing to look at is that it is against the edge of the entire nameplate itself.... The middle dip of the M does not come close the edge of the nameplate, nor is it all on one plane.
