Braun asked for a DNA test to compare his DNA to one of the sample and the MLB refused. Hence the reason the arbitrator sided with Braun.

a video ? are you serious ? If he takes a dna test and the samples dnt match i would imagine thats better than a video. And if he takes a dna test and the sample dsnt match his dna then alot of people on here will have some crow to eat

I've heard so many conflicting little bits of info about this thing that it's truly ridiculous to jump to any conclusion at this point. Some say the sample was left in the fridge, others say the counter. The courier either passed 3 different open FedEx stores or he couldn't find one open. I wonder if the courier's name is Richard Jewell or something. Geez, people.

The bottom line is that I would take any player who says they dont or have never taken PED's with a grain of salt.

There is not a player in the game today that if tested positive would have me saying I am shocked.

Even before he was drafted he reportedly openly used steroids in the Cape Cod league. Not once did his lawyers deny the use of steroids. Outside of turning into Barry Bonds he could not be more dirty.

The specimen collector made a statement today that they are currently discussing on ESPN's Outside the Lines. Pretty compelling stuff. Sounds like there are MANY levels of safeguards that are done to ensure that samples are not tampered with. The guy also said that there wasn't a FedEx drop off area within 50 miles of Miller Park that was open over that weekend which is what led to him keeping them until Monday. This all just sounds like a huge snow job to save the MLB from having the humiliation of giving the MVP Award to a cheater. Now it's clear that Braun is still a cheater and that apparently the MLB holds him above the rules.

MLB is not trying to help braun get off. They WANT him to be suspended, they are even discussing litigation to overturn the arbitors ruling. Im hoping something more comes out, cuz the longer this goes on and the more that comes out braun looks worse and worse. I was hoping that he was on some type of medication like i originally had heard for herpes or some nonsense, but its starting to look like hes guilty even to me now

That's right, it was some arbitrator that overturned the suspension....sorry about that.

I think there are 3 compelling things that sink Braun's innocence claim; including one coming from his own statement.

1) Braun stated that 2 other Brewers players had samples taken and collected by the same collector 10 minutes after him. How come those players didn't pop positive for external testosterone seeing as how they were not delivered to FedEx either and were at his house?

2) The samples were sealed in 3 items; all signed by Braun and arrived same at lab.

3) The collector has done this before (according to him it is company policy) and none of those times, has a player's sample tested positive for external testosterone.

Braun's claim just stinks! I think he needs to take it like a man and admit what he did and that he made a mistake like Andy Pettitte.
