Depends on who you ask and your purpose for the info. If you go to MLB.com I believe he is in the top 10 prospects in 2011. Before he was brought up from the minors his avg was close to 400. He could be a really great player in 2012 being there everyday.

To adjust.....some prospects make it some don't
Look at don mattingly he was a. 39th round draft pick

Im sure he will end up being a productive 1B. I at least hope so for the cubs sake; they are expecting him to be their first baseman of the future.

highly touted prospect that has been a mega hitter at every level he played, expect for his call up to The Show last year where he struggled. Management thinks he just needs a bit of time. He will start in Triple A in Iowa, but is a matter of time before he moves LeHair over as the starting 1B for the Cubs. Is young, natural swing, good power (playing in Wrigley will certainly help compared to Petco) and I believe he also overcame Hodgkins Lymphoma, so he is character player. Certainly has the makings for a franchise star.

in his prime he should be an anual 25-30 homerun guy with some years where he'll hit more but he's not the next Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, A-Rod, etc.... But being out of the hitters graveyard known as Petco can't do anything but help.

I think he'll put up pretty good numbers eventually, but he'll sacrifice average for power in the MLB. He was a monster in AAA, yes, but he was playing in the PCL, where the balls fly off bats. There's going to be a transitional period and some growing pains, but he has the talent to make adjustments. Just don't expect monster numbers.
