2009-10 Upper Deck Draft Edition
Biggest mistake of my box breaking so far...
4 auto's from scrubs that were all numbered /999
3 Rubio rookies from the base set.
Wish I could get my $80 back... Ugh
Collect Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, Ricky Rubio, Kevin Love and anything that looks cool.

Seriously wish I would have spent the extra $20 to get their last 2010-11 Panini Limited box.

Yeah, I bought a box of this expecting the top rookies...should have done my research. This was a tough break for me too when it first came out.

I'm out $320 so far for two 1997-98 Z-Force boxes with no great pulls. Does that help you feel a little better?

I don't even want to think about how much I may be out on box breaks.....
but I always remember why I continue to buy the boxes. I LOVE IT........ If I wanted to get into a hobby more for the investment then I would probably be collecting old coins or something like that....LOL I have busted some boxes I thought were trash and figured I would never get rid of any of the cards and make a post on here and trade everyone of them for some really nice cards. Did I get my money back, no probably not but I add to my PC and enjoy the trades.
I collect Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Kevin Garnett also certain High End Celtics HOF's.

Well put. Those companies produced this stuff to make money. Just as the house gets the odds at a casino. If they were all good boxes, they would be worth much less and even cost more to make.
I haven't had a $300 to $400 day busting wax at the card shop since my 2 year old was born. Just a high end box here and there.... probably about $400 worth in that 2 years instead of a day or month. I miss it, so enjoy those breaks for me.....LOL

Agreed. That's why I collect both! Busting wax is fun, and a huge portion of my old coin/currency collection made up the down payment on my new car last year haha.
I collect Michael Jordan, Mitch Richmond, and Ohio State players (football and basketball) in OSU gear. I strongly prefer 90's-era cards and use newer cards primarily for trade bait!
