The SP Authentic FW Patch from this set is rather interesting. It is the only set ever to feature Neuvirth in the old black jerseys. Assuming it is actually his jersey(which im not sold that it is), they cut an entire jersey up and only made 99 cards out of it. The thing is Neuvy never wore the black jersey. Since he signed the Caps have been wearing the red white and blue. The only thing I can think of is that it is a photo shoot jersey that they never used again. That doesnt make sense though because all of his other rookie cards have a red photo shoot jersey. Quite a strange situation.

I agree with Wes, he's never worn the old jersey. Unless it was a photoshoot which is odd again to have him where it only for that. I know Backstrom wore it for some of his RC's but not Neuvy. Btw thanks for the nod Hugh, I have one but I would gladly trade for another!

What I meant is it doesnt make sense to me that upper deck acquired this jersey, cut it up, and only used it for 99 cards.

Ahhhh...I see...well, it's Upper Deck, things don't have to make sense with them. Up is down, left is right, etc.
