RE: OT: What is a true 1/1
I only consider true 1/1's the only card in that product...plates are now 1/1's IMO...they are 1/4's. A superfractor is a 1/1...or like other have shown other cards stamped 1/1. Technically every card numbered would be a 1/1 if you listen to ebay tools...oh this card is #32/100 its a 1/1 because its the only one thats number #32!!!!

1/1's are stamped 1/1.
If someone has 1/1 in their ebay auction and the card is NOT a true 1/1, they go on my list of sellers I will never buy from. I hate that.

It is definitely annoying, but it's also a marketing tool for sellers. I would not bannish them from trying to make a buck. Just don't buy that particular card.

Oh, it's not mine. It's on eBay right now.
I didn't think that it was a true 1/1.

A true 1/1 is defined by however you can spin it to get the most cash!
Example: Player X scored 11 TD's in 2004. This 2004 Fleer Ultra card of him is serial #'d 11/6500- BIN $519

RE: OT: What is a true 1/1
Picture the situation. You're browsing on e bay and see a Sam Bradford rookie card numbered 8/99. The seller insists..that's his jersey number!! It's a 1/1!! Or it's 1/99, or 99/99...first and last one made!! It's a 1/1!!
Of course it isn't. It would be a bonus to pick up a card serial numbered to match his jersey number, but the same card numbered 9/99 would be just as nice to have.
The big difference would be in the BV. A true 1/1 is worth way more than a card that has a print run of 99.
And that's how most of us look at it!!

i dont even consider print plates to be true 1 of 1's (really, theyre one of 4's)
