Cool to see a big Matt Barnes collector on here. He went to HS a town over from me and I played against him a few times. I dont think I ever had the opportunity to hit against him though. The Red one is going to be tough because it always looks the coolest in combination with the Red Sox. Same with other teams and their primary colors.

Yeah, it makes sense. I grew up right near UConn, and my Dad escorts the head football coach for all his games (he was actually the arresting officer in the Jasper Howard case) so UConn guys are plus. Then add the fact that he is on the Sox, that's enough of a reason for me to go in hard. It really is a shame knowing I have every base and colored refractor except for that one (and all the 1/1s). Hopefully I get lucky one of these days. Next it will be the colored autos (vomit at the thought of what those will cost)

I tend to find that when someone snipes me at the last minute 1) The card then sells for above what the book value is and 2) I then tend to get another one on e-bay for cheaper than the first sold for. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way though and I have to wait a long time to find it again.
