That's a real good take, man! I think he will be ok... I feel it's a "when it rains it pours" moment for him right now. It's not just a matter of getting back on the court, I think he has to get past the mental aspect of it as well. I'm sure he's playing hesitantly, worried about rolling his ankle again.
