2008 Topps Triple Threads Triple Auto
I just got a hold of a triple auto card of Albert Pujols, David Wright, and Ryan Howard. The card is miss cut on the left and right side. To be more specific, the card is actually at a little bit of an angle to where the top right corner is farther out then the bottom right corner. So basically its miss cut. Is this normal for 2008 triple threads, or is this card just royally F#$%ed up ? Its numbered out of three too. So are the other two cut perfectly ??? I'm not expecting an answer for that last question. :-) Can anyone help ??

Are you saying printed at a slight angle, or cut in a manner that edge isn't cut straight?

The edge is not cut straight.
I should be more specific. Both the left and right edges are cut at an angle.

Definitely not normal. Card was cut wrong unfortunately.

RE: 2008 Topps Triple Threads Triple Auto
If you look on Ebay, there is a 2008 Topps Triple Thread card of David Wright, Ryan Howard and Albert Pujols. Its a triple auto numbered to 18. I have the same exact card, the only difference is mine is numbered to 3. But if you take a close look at the card, the left and right edges are cut at an angle, at least from my perspective. So, if that card numbered to 18 is cut the same way mine is, is that just an issue Topps had that year? Im saying did Topps just make a mistake ???

So what does that do to the value? Ive never dealt with flaws like this. I have seen what rough edges and corners can do to the value of a card, but never cards that were miss cut, especially high end cards like topps triple threads.

It's tough to say since the card is serial numbered to three. I think the value would come down from what it normally would sell for if it was straight but it's hard to even say what that is with such a low print run.

Thanks. I always find myself in these predicaments. I could find a 1952 Topps Mantle, but it would have four worn corners and a coffee stain on the back that was barely visible, but just visible enough to ruin the card. I have no luck at all. I get screwed over a lot too. I purchase cards off ebay and it says LIKE NEW. I get it and it has more flaws than a ten dollar hooker. LIFE STINKS.
