Tigers To Sign Prince Fielder
Tigers To Sign Prince Fielder
Prince Fielder, who hit baseballs out of Tiger Stadium as a 12-year-old, is on his way back to Detroit, where his father, Cecil Fielder, starred for seven years. The Tigers have agreed to sign the free agent first baseman to a nine-year, $214MM contract. Collecting Lewis-Clark State Baseball Players. RE: Tigers To Sign Prince Fielder
I like Prince...the dude can rake...but seems a little high. He doesn't really bring value anywhere but his bat. And they already have a stud hitting/bad fielding first-baseman. Should be interesting with what they do with that. I can't imagine Miggy at his current weight going back to 3rd and they are both under 30...kind of young to move to a full-time DH role. But either way, those two back-to-back will be a nightmare for AL pitchers.
