1989 Score Football Wax Case....Thoughts?

1989 Score Football Wax Case....Thoughts?
Was approached by someone in the area that has a 1989 Score Football 20 box wax case and is trying to sell for $3,750. Would you guys get that? Can't find them anywhere and would love to bust open some packs of these gems and maybe sell some others, but I can't find them anywhere else to get a price gauge. I live near Dallas and thus I would believe with Score being so close that the case is legit.

I would never do that you could end up just paying $3750 for a bunch of junk base cards.

Almost $190 a box. Seems a little high to me.

Irvin, Tim Brown, Chris Carter, Aikman RCs....Each of which you can get cheaper individually

BGS 10 Aikman for $2k
BGS 9.5 Aikman for $80
BGS 9.5 Carter for $40
BGS 10 Tim Brown for $250
BGS 9.5 Tim Brown for $60
BGS 9.5 Irvine for $40

$2470 total....save the $1300 and get those bad@$$ cards...especially the pristines. You will barely get 9.5s with boxes and packaging that old.

may save $1100.00 but with the case you will get multiple of each of those players many times , grade them all and you can make 2x maybe 3x your money back just depends on how many of each you get .. i think the case is a little high priced but yet again could be a solid invesment cause all the cards are going to be in pristine condition just centering will be a factor for grading ... tough call maybe make him an offer on the case see if you can get it a lil cheaper
Looking for Magic the Gathering - Battle for Zendikar - FOILS only !!!
if your willing to trade send me a mesage of what u have that i need ..
also have some sports cards as well i can offer in return if need be ..

First off that's too high for the case but if you could get it down far enough, I'd buy it and sell the boxes for a profit. The profit being, how many boxes can I open to break even. Now, that would be a deal!

I gauruntee there's no way you can make 2-3x your money back on those cards. Without even grading, the 6 top RCs from that set you can get for $100 (ungraded)

A complete set with all the RCs can go for about $50-$100 as well.

You'd have to get 37 sets to get your money back LOL

Sorry just a very bad investment
