2007 UD Masterpieces Glossy

Anyone know where these originated from? They look just like the regular 2007 UD Masterpieces but instead of a textured finish they have a glossy finish. I have several Yankees (Jeter, Gehrig, Ruth). I don't see them in the OPG. They are not serial numbered.

I wonder why these aren't in the OPG. Were they a regional release only in the New York area? I wonder where you could get them? I mean, were they a WalMart, K-Mart or Target exclusive? doesnt look like it was from a store...maybe a team issue thing, ud exclusive
