I'm building a 1980-81 Topps Basketball set, I have the Bird/Magic rookie, but Im not sure how the card numbering goes to build the set. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

that is a cool set to chase. that would be my set of choice after 86-87 & 87-88, which I already put together in 2008. Still need to upgrade my MJ RC.. want to get a graded 9 or above.. not familiar with the numbers of 80-81 topps.

I would recommend trying to get the lower singles in "lots" online.. this is the fastest/cheapest way to chase sets.

Based on the Beckett description/detail.

The cards are numbered within each series of 88 by any ordering of the left-hand player's number when the card is viewed from the back.
