1990s breaks (Metal Universe, Thunder, Z-Force, Ultra, Premium, Finest)
A couple of nice inserts (i.e. the Jordan and Marbury) saved me from my worst nightmare. I could have sold these packs for a lot of money but chose to open most of them. Overall, I was disappointed by the number of hits, e.g. no Autographics, no PMG, no Raves, etc. However, I got these packs for a super-cheap price, so I probably broke even. Not to mention, I had great fun opening the packs (I'm not sure I could have lived with myself if I sold them!).

My God, those Grizzlies uniforms are the most hideous things ever created. A close runner-up to the Cavaliers and Rockets unis as well...

Yeah, they'll be remembered as some of the worst uniforms ever!

Btw, all cards are FT/FS.

RE: 1990s breaks (Metal Universe, Thunder, Z-Force, Ultra, Premium, Finest)
I was looking up all the potential hits to see which packs I was most interested in and I remember doing the numbers on hitting that Quick Strike Jordan and thinking "no way in hell I'll hit that!" Very nice hit. I'd love to acquire it, though I highly doubt I have enough. LMK!

I collect Michael Jordan, Mitch Richmond, and Ohio State players (football and basketball) in OSU gear. I strongly prefer 90's-era cards and use newer cards primarily for trade bait!

Before I opened the packs, I watched a few YouTube videos showcasing people's Jordan collections. The one card I really liked was the Quick Strike card. And, like you, buckunteer, I figured I stood no chance of getting it.

It's really something special in person. The middle part is transparent and the light reflects off the rest of the card beautifully.

depending on how much you spent, the Jordan Quick Strike typically sells between 50-70. It seems like you got a lot of inserts, but nothing that would be good today.....Imagine though pulling some of those inserts during the actual year the cards came out!

Yeah, I broke even in terms of what I had invested in these packs. I guess I should feel happy (after all, many people lose money when they purchase packs/boxes).

The problem is, I could have tripled my money by re-selling all the packs!

Instead, I caved into temptation! Big Grin

any idea what you're looking for for that quick strike MJ? I was going to attempt to put a trade together but it's not in your org yet. I can't do a 1-for-1 though b/c I don't have anything comparable, but I would certainly trade in your favor to attempt to compensate. PM me or LMK on here. Thanks!
