Like alot of other people I don't have much disposable income right now but will be putting aside about $200 from my tax refund to spend on baseball cards. I will either be getting 3 Hobby Boxes of 2012 Topps Series 1 or 2 Jumbo boxes 2012 Topps. What choice should I go with? Any advice would be appreciated

Need advice on what to buy

I am a sucker for the Jumbos since I think you had better odds at a bigger hit. I have no idea whether that is actually true or not.
(Banner by jbel4331) Adam Dunn Super Collector.
I have also seen better hits from the Jumbos. JMO
Get 1 jumbo and 1 regular and go from there.
Looking to complete the 2013 Archives Mets fan favorite Au's (Just need Ron Darling) and 2014 Topps Gypsy Queen set mini base + SPs. Also working on 2015 Topps Chrome and updates. Please note that if you have less than 15 trades, I ask that you send first.
Thanks for the responses so far. I think the question I should have asked is are the Jumbos worth the extra money?
the jumbos are worth the extra money- 3 hits per box as opposed to 1
Another great banner by jbel4331! Also collecting Brewers prospects and Hall of Fame autos
I usually buy a Jumbo box cause it gets me super close to having a complete base set and the guaranteed auto is icing on the cake. Plus you usually get a lot more inserts and parallels.
Definitely go with jumbo. It triples your hits without tripling the money. Plus you get close to completing the set and get nice inserts/better chance of getting a nice hit.
I'd buy singles!! Of course, I only collect one player!!
Special Props to pyr0punk for this Amazing & Killer Banner!!
I'd go with Jumbo. There are more hits, and more Golden Givaway codes.
Help me find the last one of these ^^^!!! Bucket http://s873.photobucket.com/albums/ab292/20youksox Current Youkilis Count:602/2117- 28.43% |
