Need help finding value

Need help finding value
I have a 2004 Bowman, Joey Votto, Signs of the Future, RED INK auto, this card is not serial numbered but Beckett does say that there was a strict run of only 25 of these made. I know this card is very condition sensitive, but have been told by 3 dif dealers that this particular card that I have is by far in the very best condition that they have seen, but have only seen 3 to date, and they can't imagine this card could be found in any better condition. Corners are very sharp to the eye, and are still very good under a jewelers loop. Very clean all the way around also. I can't find a rough value for this card anywhere? Any help at all would be great!!!

Thanks so much,

None sold kn ebay, at least recently. The ones that have sold are the blue ones. Im sure it could fetch a pretty penny from the right votto collector.

RE: Need help finding value
Considering what the Bv is for the blue one, I would say 2 to 2.5 times that BV.

As for the condition, Too many sellers have had a tendency to overstate the condition of a card when they try to sell it, so it has made buyers wary of taking someones word on the condition, so, buyers will not pay a premium on it, unless it is graded by one of the big three grading companies. ( I am not saying that your doing this, just saying that it has become a habit with selling cards now, and makes the buyers wary of paying a premium for an ungraded card)

My suggestion to you is have it graded before trying to sell it.

On a personal note here, I noticed that you do not have the card inside a penny sleeve before encasing it in the screwdown, very, very bad idea, as the ink has a tendency to stick to the plastic of the screwdown, and when you open it again, it could mar the auto, or peel it off, my suggestion is, take it out of the screwdown, and put it in a penny sleeve, then back in the screwdown.

OK, great! Thanks for all of the help with this. It's in a penny sleeve now also. It will be going out in my next group of cards to be graded. If anyone in the future happens to run onto anymore guesses on value, please let me know. I will still keep an eye on this thread...

Thanks again so much,
