I live in Los Angeles too and I never hear of any big shows here. If you find any I would love to know about them as well.

RE: Upcoming card shows
I've also been looking for card shows in SOCAL... haven't seen any pop up in a very long time. The weekly card shows at Kings Inn in San Diego are usually the same dealers, no wax. There is one other card show that happens on the 2nd tuesday of every month, but same thing... not a lot of dealers, no wax.

I used to love going to the card shows back in the day. So many dealers & always cheap deals on wax... my favorite years to go to the card shows was 93-95. So many cards & packs to choose from.

RE: Upcoming card shows
Manny, I been to Kings Inn a few times. It's been over a year since I last went. Was disappointed with amount of dealers. I walked around the entire floor in about 10-15 minutes. Picked up a few single Kobe, Lebron, & MJ's for a few bucks each. No wax.. I did get approached by a few non-dealers asking if I wanted to buy exquisite basketball.. I passed them up. Cover charge is around $3.

If you have other adventures in San Diego, then I'd make the trip.. but I wouldn't come down to SD just for the card show. There are a few LCS, that are worth checking out.. but then again, not much basketball. A few are a little expensive for wax, & they charge tax. My favorite spot is PJ's Sports Cards in Chula Vista.
