Nifty New England Stat this year
While browsing the various news outlets today I came across a somewhat funny stat for the Patriots this year.
My Bengals have been getting "Ripped" all year and made the playoffs as a number 6 seed. They only have one win against a team with a winning record...

How many people have bothered to notice that New England has beaten NO-ONE with a winning record and it got them a #1 seed.

I'll admit the Pats did beat a lot of .500 teams and I'd say they'd beat the Bengals just about any day.

I just love how one team has it's record spun as a bad thing and another team it's not really mentioned. As a Bengals fan I'm sort of use to it, but Hey We are all 0-0 in the playoffs this year Smile

If you want to trade, I need DC and a padded mailer at a minimum. Rarely do I collect or trade for anything other than Bengals/Jaguars and some Cowboys.

Well, i think that the Patriots deserve the credit that they get. But i think that the Bengals hit it big with this past draft. It is only the begining of a new era for you guys, it will show in the play.

And speaking of a new begining, i just want you to know that we should let bygones be bygones. Aloha

RE: Nifty New England Stat this year
They have beaten only 1 playoff team the 8-8 broncos and no on else over .500 ... easy schedule and lack of Defensive prep for every team due to lockout has mad a mockery of the NFL this year.... Lets see how many qb's throw over 4000 and 5000 yards next year ? 12-13-14 of em??? there were 10-11 this year ....rules changes to increase scoring suck!!!!!!! Receivers and QB's don't play with fear anymore because they know there has been a rules changes to protect them ...QB's stay in the pocket longer and hide behind refs flags...wr's don't fear hits when they go across the middle.....I think the NFL should stand for National - FLAG - league. might as well ditch the pads and put flags on ... Thank you NFL.

sorry for the rant this is a sore subject with me Smile
