2 boxes of 1998 Bowman...scans
Didnt have any manning rookies and saw these on ebay and just decided, screw it, lets see what i can find. To be honest, after breaking a lot of hobby and blaster boxes this year, i have forgotten how hard it was to find anything really nice back in the '90s...lol. guess we're just spoiled now.

so here goes. i did find 2 hines ward rc's as well.

that robert edwards woulda been a great find back then...he was really good and was supposed to be a great but if i recall correctly he tore his ACL in a pickup volleyball game and was never the same!!

I think it was beach football actually. Back then, the NFL held a rookie beach football game the week of the pro bowl. Might have been with some celebrities or former players.

You are correct with the rookie beach game... he was a beast his rookie year, but one slip in the sand and that was it for him.... I still have nightmares of that Leaf rc.... traded a few Mannings for Leaf back in those early releases.... UGH
