I wonder how a mistake like that gets through?

If this mistake is made on the regular chrome version a buyer could get scammed out of thousands...This was a big pull from the 2011 set, I mean a 1/1 superfractor, and I have yet to see this type of mistake by BGS...its one thing to forget an autograph grade on an auto, but to put an autograph grade on a facsimile is a whole new ball game

This was a simple slabbing mistake. If you will look the card up under Graded Card Lookup, you will see that the card does NOT have an auto grade associated, meaning it was never graded a 10 Auto... it somehow had the chip added during the final slabbing process. In slabbing over 7 million cards, occasionally there are bound to be errors, as hard as we try to avoid them. We will correct this if the owner asks, plus additional grading credits for the hassle.

manderson - so you're saying that an auto card graded by BGS should display an Auto Grade in the Graded Card Lookup? I've submitted quite a few Autographed cards and none show the grade on that page? Just recently I got two Kobe Auto's graded. 6994879 and 6994880. Can you please look into these and let me know if they show up as Auto cards in your system?

I've already spoken with him privately about this. He didn't realize that the auto grade wasn't showing up. He knows now, so they're going to look into what needs to be done to get it fixed.

But yes, it was supposed to be showing up on the report.
