Best retail pull of my life ... THE LUCK CONTINUES!

Congrats again
Yeah, I here you ... for some reason, the only really good pulls I ever had out of retail were from hockey ... Young Guns of Malkin and Tavares, and one time I pulled a Lincecum refractor out of Bowman Draft his rookie year ... not a real high book, but kind of a big deal out here in the Bay Area.

Other than that, it's been 15 years of wishing I either saved my money (God forbid) or spent it on hobby stuff, but my closest LCS is like 35 minutes away. I work nights and watch my kids during the day, so it's hard for me to get over there.

It's like, I'll buy five blasters of crapola and kick myself for not buying a hobby box.

Take care, man ...

Ha ha, I know, man, I hate it when there aren't any scans in other peoples' posts! I'll try to do it within the next couple of days — it's pretty sick. The sig is so dark blue that at first I was worried it was a reprint like the Pujols or something. The centering is really good and you can shave with the corners. Like with many refractors, there is a surface line all the way down about a third of the way from the left, but I'm definitely not complaining. Now all he has to do is be as good as he's supposed to be. Take care, RJ

very nice. my best retail pull was a redemption for Jesus Montero Refractor Auto and Topps came through rather quickly with it. Still looking for something worth flipping it for.

That's pretty sweet, Montero's supposed to be pretty good. Was that out of the 2008 draft stuff or this year's? Either way, awesome pull ...

I just really hope Harper turns out to be the real deal, because five years from now I don't want to be holding on to like a $20 card, LOL ... although it can't replace the memory of how stoked I was when I pulled it, either way.

I'm going to try to get a scan up early next week. Take care, RJ

oh yeah, it was 08 bowman with Votto on the pack I believe.

Easy to say cause it's not mine, but I'd probably hold on to something like that unless someone made an offer I couldn't refuse. Put it on eBay for 1 1/4 what you'd really want (you want $200? Put it up for $250). You never know. I've definitely been surprised on a couple sales I've made.

Love it, also just wanted to say THANK YOU !! Your post made me choose retail blaster's over hobby this past weekend and I also pulled the Harper auto #d to 500. My wife gave me $200 to spend, I looked at hobby forst, but I swear after I read this post I chose 4 blasters and had Harper mania. you can see mine in my thread. So really thank you so much man and congrats

That's AWESOME, man ... glad I could inspire you (LOL) ... I checked your thread out, pretty sweet!

And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who could pull Tyler Moore cards, ha ha ha.

I also replied to your other thread about your 'problem' a few days ago, did you guys reconcile? Sounds like it, great for you, man ... it's a beauty.
