Why is it Varlamov is playing after giving up 6 goals? This has occured a few times this season. I am all for showing your players that you're sticking with him as your #1, but enough is enough. Make a change, let him clear his head. Sitting him for a week won't ruin him. Sacco will be out of a job soon. Deadmarsh is on deck.

I agree with you. In general, that is a very poorly run team. It's sad to see but I'm glad Sakic got out before the circus arrived. I just dropped Varlamov from my fantasy team...I was hoping he could settle my situation at G with Hiller and Crawford but no dice.

Sacco never pulls goalies. He will leave the starter in there even if he gives up 9 goals. I don't know why he does that. If anything its just killing the goaltenders confidence. Let him get out of there and give the backup a shot. Everyone has off nights, including professional athletes.

I picked up Mike Smith late, so let's hope he pans out. Lehtonen is a nice 3rd if he can stay healthy.
