RE: Official 2011 Topps Chrome Thread
I've opened 4 blasters and 1 hanging pack and got nothing but refractors and inserts. Not a single auto. That's $80 of waste that I could've bought the whole set, most of the insert sets and an auto or 2.

The hobby boxes are $120 at my LCS, so I could've spent $40 more and bought a box and been guaranteed an autograph.

I haven't been having the same luck breaking boxes as others. But I am about 1/3 of the way to completing the set.

BTW, does anyone know where we can get images of the SP RC variations? Not likely I have any, but I thought I'd try. LMK if anyone knows.

Wow 120$??!?! mine had them for 69$ for hobby. Inflation I guess, Cards Infinity had them for 65$ at one point now they are 80$, 90$ shipped. Not sure if my LCS has gone up sense though.
I collect Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, Patriots and Red Sox

RE: Official 2011 Topps Chrome Thread
I am going to have first my blaster break of Topps Chrome Monday. I was able to find them for $15.99 each and bought the last 4 at that price. If I pull something nice, I may go back to my local Target because they had at least 6 blasters sitting there mid-week. I bought the rack packs they had and pulled a Ryan Williams ref auto, my second one. The only hobby box I opened I pulled Williams base auto. He is following me around in my breaks, and I am not interested. If he would have been healthy this season, then maybe I would be happy, but nope. I have seen lots of great parallels come out of the blaster boxes, so all I can hope for is something colorful out my 4.

I pulled a Julio myself in a blaster. Was pretty pleased. Hopefully he has a breakout game soon so the trade/sale interest goes up! Big Grin

I thought the red refractors were a "HOBBY" exclusive..... are the blasters and hobby boxes the same this year as far as the pulls you can get??
Looking for Hines Ward rookies (that I do not have), low numbered parallels and autos. Also, Bowman Chrome Baseball autos.
I normally send trades on Tuesday's and/or Friday's due to work.
