Just wondering if this is weird or not.

Got a /25 2010-11 The Cup Evgeny Grachev RC #25/25 in the mail. Something weird about it, the cardstock in the centre of the card is yellow ?!

To those who own any of these rookies...are your cardstocks in the centre yellow as well ?

I think it is because it is the gold version I have a few like that

you have the gold version

for RCs, the gold version is actually the auto patch rc #'ed to the player's jersey #. you have the platinum rc /25 and yes, they are gold on the side. the black 1/1's are black on the side as well.
