I usually don't buy retail, but since I was there when they opened the boxes to stock figured it was ok.
Out of a box of 16 2.99 packs and a box of 18 8.99 "rack" packs I got:

1 prospect auto
7 purple #/799 prospects
8 Best cards
15 future die cuts
8 throwback cards (which seems high compared to the hobby box odds:"2 Per Hobby Box") right?

3x18 green prospect cards from the 8.99 packs (this goes a long way towards building the prospect set)

So 2 reg Harpers, 1 green, 1 Lawrie reg, and 1 green.
I still need 32 RC cards to complete the RC set (which suck! imo)
and I need 51 more prospects... yeesh.

I was curious if anyone has a good estimate on how many hobby boxes it would take to make a complete base and prospect set.

I'd say at least 6-10 boxes.
